Children’s Emotions in the Classroom

New ‘Time Out Cards’ for dealing with children’s emotions.

These fantastic cards requested by Helen, a Pencil Street user. These teaching resource cards are to help children manage their behaviour and can be used in dicussion after a child has been involved in an incident. Designed to make them think about their actions and hopefully dicuss them in a clam fashion. Pencil Street have a range of behaviour management teaching resources and children discussing feelings and emotions.

Many of these teaching resources are free for everybody to use.

Teaching resource of the day

The resource for today is 1007-185. This is a very popular arge wall display featuring pictures of children,  showing different emotions and keywords associated with those feelings. Teachers can decide which words to use dependant on the age range they are teaching.
